Hanging on

The beautiful sunny morning was a treat after the wind and rain from the storm yesterday. However it did not last long and by lunchtime it was raining. I was surprised to see two deer in the woods this morning, I know there are deer around as we get them in our garden but I have not seen them before in our local woods in the middle of the morning. They were running very fast and I suspect dogs had been chasing them.

I went to the hairdresser today, all ready for Christmas now! I realised I have been going to the same hairdresser for nearly 18 years now, I have always liked her and trusted what she does to my hair so there was never any need to change.

Gavin is back from the US today and I will see him briefly tonight after work before I head out to book club. He tells me he has brought a large tub of Garrett's popcorn, one cannot go to Chicago without buying some of that famous and delicious popcorn. The client he sees there usually presents him with a tub of it too.

Tomorrow is voting day, and this time it will be quite a significant election with significant consequences. The nation seems quite divided in opinion on who to vote for so let's try and keep Blipfoto free of nasty comments about the results.
