Moorgroga
A dull day, with a odd shower first thing, and again in the late afternoon. It's been windy all day, with gales picking up.
I managed to get a load of washing out this morning, followed by walkies around Scalloway. Me and Sammy headed out for a run in the afternoon. Picked up niece Elise from school, andntook her home to Laura's. A quiet evening, some walkies, and then off to work in the pub later.
This corrugated iron croft house was built new in 1955, by Magnie Murray for Lowrie Couper to replace the old house which had fallen into disrepair. Now this peerie house has fallen into serious disrepair. Last time in was here, the front side of the house was still standing, although the door and windows had fallen out. Now with the front exposed, it won't be long before it will lift with a gale and thrown down the hill. It's done well to last as long as it has. Taken at Moorgroga, Collafirth, Delting.
