It's snow fun.....
....being a spaniel 'cos you get snowballs where they shouldn't be!
The forecast snow arrived overnight and so I got suitably togged up and off we went to explore. The dogs were like kiddies in a playpark and there was no way I could get them to stay still to pose. Poor Bruce's coat gathers snowballs all over him but he was totally undeterred and continued to have fun, though every time I pointed the camera at him he looked the other way. He obviously thought it would ruin his street cred if his chums saw him covered in snowballs. Cara was completely effervescent and didn't stay still at all!
The trees were absolutely stunning and magical, covered in a layer of fresh snow and with hardly a sound being heard. I simply didn't know where to point the camera so maybe it wasn't only the dogs who felt they were in the playpark! This shot was taken as I looked upwards towards the canopy and the little light that was around seemed to be catching the upper branches. The laden branches here provided a wonderful trellis against the grey sky. The snow has turned to rain on lower levels now and I wonder how much will be left by tomorrow.
