Hugh beauty

A wonderful prayer breakfast this morning and a good chance to catch up with some people I haven't seen in a while. The whole morning would have been wonderful if not for the thick frost that I had to clear at 8am and then the sleet that followed. I was glad for an afternoon of hibernation, only nipping out again to walk and get the paper (yes, I am 80 years old).

Another Hugh classic tonight: oven roasted shallot and mushroom risotto. Only I'd forgotten how long it takes to cook a risotto in the oven. I was so hungry by the time it came out that I accidentally ate two portions.

And now for an evening of Dawson's Creek with Grace. That clear out at Groove Cottage is proving to be more like mining for gold.
