Canada Geese On Bethany Lake

I had to pick up my new rimless glasses this afternoon, and thought I'd stop by Bethany Lake on the way back home. There was another photographer there, so it was fun to stop and talk, and marvel at the great array of wildlife at the pond this winter.

There were several groups of Canada Geese on the lake, and one by one the groups took flight, skimming the water, and heading up into the blue sky.

I only had a long warm sweater on, and kept seeing people bundled up in ski jackets, warm mitten, and hats...and it was COLD out there. I could only stand it for a while, but it felt so good to be outside and get some fresh air...and of course, watch the ducks and geese:)
