My place
Hopefully in life we
Find our place
By the sea
Inland
On an isle
Up a mountain
In the shadow of a leafy oak tree
It doesn’t matter where
As long as
Your heart is light
And you feel glad
To be in that place
But wherever you plant your feet
May you be content
To have the chance
To look around you
And rejoice in all
That is available

Our swim was scheduled for 7.45am but as I left the house it was raining heavily. I drove south towards Bray and the sky was churning up and the rain danced on the windscreen. But it hadn’t reached Bray just yet and this was the magical scene as I arrived.
The bad weather was moving south from Dublin and we had a window of 10 mins for swim. What a sky! The war of the worlds. During our swim it came in and we swam as the rain did little jigs in the water around us.
A quick change into wet clothes and now a coffee before we re-enter the reality of the working day.
