This fabulous Crocus cartwrightianus is still going strong after many years planted out in a sand bed. The ones I kept in pots have all died out.

I popped to the old garden and to collect a few things from the house. The autumn flowers are coming to their end as winter approaches although there will be a few late comers for a while .... and then it’s time for the early snowdrops! :-)
