Meanwhile ...

Out in the sand bed, exposed to all that nature can throw at them, more Crocus laevigatus, looking very happy in this morning's sunshine.  This dark form often used to flower very late in dry Norfolk.  I've had flowers of it in the garden on Christmas Day!

Another day of sorting and tidying.   With a heap of boxed stuff in the sitting room, the plunder from last week's trip to Norfolk, this will be my lot for a while to come.   Jamie had a good session with Tim this morning, a custom made spice rack a very pleasing outcome.  This afternoon he's made fudge to order for a friend who had a taste of the previous batch yesterday!
