Meanwhile

... out in the garden, a more robust relative of yesterday's star turn.  Crocus laevigatus 'Dark Form,' several corms of which came to light when I was clearing part of  the front garden raised bed this summer.  Buried beneath dianthus and phlox (and weeds) for years, it is a testament to their tough nature that they are flowering still.

Basketball, flu jab, lunch.  Allotment, cooking, down time.  Busy in parts and a good one overall.  Enjoying playing scrabble-type word games with friends thanks to the smart new (old) phone!
