Holidays! But not yet...

Another sunny day, but I think it could be the last...

We both had our flu jabs this morning, then we went across the Meadows to finalise arrangements for our Big Trip next summer. It's all arranged, deposit paid. Very exciting. Can’t keep it secret - it's the Rocky Mountaineer, with an added Alaskan cruise up the 'inside passage'. It's been great to use a travel agent, because she suggested lots of other things to do - whale watching trip, gondola, extra nights (and seaplane trip) on Vancouver Island.

Hazel, our neighbour, came over to hear about our holiday plans over a glass of wine. She is also going on holiday tomorrow (taxi at 4am) to her regular hotel in Tenerife. She was Very Pleased when Archie went and got one of his toys and chose her to have a tug of war with. Most unusual. 

We spent rather a long time with the Travel Agent - Archie got a bit tetchy and had to be taken out for a walk. But he had a good run on the Meadows on the way home. Still not much of an autumn show...
