Autumn colours on the square

The early morning rain cleared away. I spent most of the day packing and making last minute phone calls about the insurance claim and the forthcoming car purchase. Last night‘s meal with the new ringing team was a success. 10 of us went to a restaurant I haven’t been to before. The meal was simple but good. The monument in the photo is the only one of its kind in Europe and commemorates the Franco British Entente Cordiale. The leaves are turning now but the Catalan flags are still flying to remind us that this is just as much Catalonia as it is France.
