A trip to London to meet up with A and the children. They came to meet me at Kings Cross, the attraction of Harry Potter was evident!!!

We had arranged to visit Westminster Abbey at the request of Annie, after our visit to St Paul’s Cathedral last year. It’s the first time that I have visited, but like most people I felt that I knew what it’s like inside from seeing events on the TV. I was wrong, there was so much more!!! We spent about 3hrs looking round before heading off for food. It was amazing and left us feeling that there was so much more to see that a return visit is on the cards.

A walk to St James’s Park, Horse Guards Parade, Whitehall, Downing St, the Cenotaph gave plenty of interesting subjects for discussion with the children, Max has to know all the details.....well as much as I know at the time and the extras gleaned from Google !!!

We headed back to the tube and taking the circle line A, M and A got off at Liverpool St for the train home and I headed back to Kings Cross for some food before getting my train home.

I’m exhausted .....think that I might be aching tomorrow!!!
