Still some colour

Over to R’s this morning to do a few jobs. One was fitting a cover over the meters high up on a wall. A joint effort, I painted a small patch of ceiling then B fitted the home made box. This has been a job in progress....now finished.

We picked the last of the raspberries, I was amazed that there were any on the canes. The yellow ones must be an autumn variety.

We crossed the river Trent at Dunham Bridge and the river is higher than I have ever seen. It has burst its banks and flooded the fields on both sides.
