Blakeney on my Birthday

Woke up early today, just as it was getting light, and looking out of our bedroom window saw how high the tide had risen.  By the time we were up and dressed the water was falling back and more sand was apparent.

After breakfast we set out for Cley Wetlands and the beach,  The weather was dry with a hint of rain that held off after we had walked to the beach across the wetlands - looking back at Cley Windmill and Blakeney Church tower.  There were still some yellow horned poppies behind the beach.  The walk back was a bit damp!

Back to the Wetlands Centre for a coffee and by the time we got back to the hotel the sun was shining!

As the sun set in the evening, the tide started to come in with quite a force.
