Another beautiful day

We woke up to a sunny but cold morning. I took Xena for a walk while Gavin was on a conference call meeting with his office. It was very cold but soon warmed up as the sun rose higher. I like this view in the early morning light with the long shadows. 

We had lunch in the sunshine on the terrace of the golf club restaurant, I had a delicious pumpkin soup and salad. We then had to go to the vet for Xena to get her microchip checked and be given deworming as is required by the EU passport requirements for us to re-enter the UK. We had a short walk in the sunshine afterwards and it had warmed up so it was very pleasant.

We then picked up our friends from the station who have joined us for two nights - we had an easy stroll through the village as they wanted to stretch their legs after travelling all day, followed by coffees at our favourite cafe.

I am now cooking supper and it will probably be a busy evening with our friends.

I was relieved to hear that Boris has finally achieved a Brexit deal - or has he as the DUP won't support him?
