Straight up.......

the middle.......of the garden path, hope it fits the bill for Bobsblips Wide Wednesday challenge.....not taken part for a good while!

The forecasters got it right today, after a damp start it gradually improved from mid morning.

We doned our walking shoes and popped over to Dunham Massey for a couple of hours. Pretty quiet, a bit squishy under foot, but pleasant enough, beats being stuck indoors!

Plenty of deer around, still lots of flowers in the gardens, piles of fungi appearing in the shadows and lots of colour as autumn approaches, see extras. I took this shot as we headed towards the rose gardens, I didn't know what todays widwed theme was, but guess I got lucky ;-)

We just about got our 10k steps in, hubs knee held up really well today.....hopefully that bodes well for our hols in a couple of weeks ;-)

Smoked salmon and wild rice salad for a light tea tonight before weigh in......not holding my breath though :-/
