Diary of an Edinburgher

Sorted!

We've been having problems with syncing calendars (JR has a new phone - my 'old' one - and hasn’t got any diary entries) so I popped down to the Apple shop hoping to see a 'genius'. Well, they don’t do iCloud issues. They're not trained in those. But she booked me in for a support phone call at 3pm.

I had a wander through the Gardens, looking lovely (the Gardens, not me...) and zoomed in on Ramsay Gardens, trying to cut out all the tents and scaffolding around the National Galleries where they're doing major renovations. I was heading for a flat white in Pret a Manger. Oh, and an even more delicious pain aux raisins. It's right by my bus stop, so too handy to ignore.  Also got a couple of the gorgeous wee pottles of Bircher muesli for breakfast tomorrow.

Jordan came to take Archie out for a big walk, so that was great. I spent about 40 minutes on the phone, with Maree the 'genius' accessing both phones and pointing where I was to go. Brilliant. She had to go away and consult a couple of times, but she sorted it out. It’s all to do with those different calendars.

I rang the vet again re Archie’s tender stomach, and again she said she wasn’t worried enough to do a scan - he’s healthy. A scan might show inflammation, in which case he’d be put on a low fat diet, so that’s what we’ll do.

JR is off out gallivanting with her ex-colleagues, so I'll have my favourite snack tea - Shreddies.

Or maybe one of those yummy Bircher muesli pottles....
