Portobello Beach Edinburgh Day 132

The Joppa end of Portobello Beach is lined with elegant 19th century seaside villas. Some are still enormous private houses. One has opened its doors as a beach bar with cavernous rooms and open fires ; a great place to watch the winter storms wash the windows with their foam and salt spray.
