Walpiri Lands expedition, Day 4

We drove from our campsite at Emu Bore Road, to a campsite on the Gary Junction Road, near Papunya. 

Our guide had departed late yesterday afternoon, so we were beginning the long drive back towards Alice Springs. The roads were rough and narrow, and only suitable for 4WD. There's a fairly unimaginative but interesting image in Extras - check out the rubbish leaning against the sign!

I've blipped an image of the 4WD that carried our swags, and you'll be able to see some already rolled up and waiting to be loaded. The sun was just up, and we were having breakfast around the fire - photo in Extras.
