Walpiri Lands expedition, Day 5

An early start, with us needing to be back in Alice Springs by 5pm. We still did our early morning walk though - image in Extras. (Towards Mt Liebig).

We called in to the Papunya Art Centre, and I found a wonderful painting to give to family for Christmas. Another 'Dreaming' painting. 

Lunch was up to the usual standard of superb, and we all sat around, in a creek bed! Do have a look in Extras. We ate extraordinarily well.

The end of another desert expedition - another incredible and unique experience. I love the Australian deserts.
