Hanging!
Eda is two!
We were up early preparing party food.
Eda opened some of her presents and loved her baby doll from Granny (but wanted to immediately remove its clothes) and her new green Balance bike from Mummy and Daddy.
She helped with balloons at the party hall.
Played on her friend’s Balance bike rather than her own new one and loved her windmill (nangle ?!) cake.
But the best thing was just ‘hanging’ out with her friends!
More presents when she’d had a nap this afternoon and we read Stick Man (a favourite), Tabby McTat and Room on the Broom from a bag of Julia Macdonald’s books also from Granny.
She had new letters, numbers and sea creatures in her bath from Granny Sue and then I put her to bed with more stories including the The Whale and the Snail. She was ready for sleep.
Mummy and Daddy are now off to a fancy dress joint 40th party tonight. Crazy.
Glad I’m not as I’m exhausted but has been a very special day and one I’m so glad we got to share with Eda.
The consensus was that this was the ‘best’ shot and summed up what she liked most today and that it wasn’t going to phase her having a party! (Annika on the left is wearing one of the dresses Grace made for the little friends this summer)
