Happy Eda

We’ve had a lovely happy morning with Eda which is good as she was really poorly last night whilst Mummy and Daddy were out. All well sorted by Granny with a bit of help from Boppa!
We had more present opening this morning and this super Duplo set from the Mumday Ladies ( mums of the little ones in yesterday’s blip plus some others.) Daddy helps to build this Tropical Island /Jungle and it was interesting to see that the things she went straight for were the familiar kettle and shower. All the people were given a ‘shower’ and the two males were immediately named Robbie and Billy after her big boy cousins. (She got a Duplo train on her first birthday and the girl and boy there are called after her other cousins Callum and Iris) She also rode on her balance bike today, I think it will be a great success.
We left after lunch as Eda went for a nap and Grace had gone off for a show rehearsal. Singing in the Rain is on in two weeks and we will be back down then.
We’ve had a fab and varied few days. Despite the dire weather forecast we’ve had decent dry and sunny weather when we needed it for going out and about. Yesterday’s activities were all inside but when Grace and John went out for their taxi in their flimsy costumes it was bouncing down (Extra - the party theme was J after the initials of the two celebrating their 40th birthdays. G & J went as Jelly fish as did three others at the party! Johns sister and husband went as Ab Fab Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley, apparently Adam made a good Patsy!)
The drive home was dreadful weather wise and their were the inevitable M way accidents. Think we all need a nap now.
