Perran Sands

We're back after four very enjoyable days in the wifi wilderness with some back blipping to do, so here goes:

After yesterday's rain we woke to freshly washed blue skies so headed to Perranporth for a walk along the beach as far as Perran Sands, then back across the cliffs for a coffe on the beach front; a real contrast to yesterday's view.

By lunchtime, clouds were beginning to gather and, just as we'd bought some fish and chips to eat by the beach, the heavens suddenly opened so we headed back to the lodge to eat them and spent the rest of the day alternating between the hot tub and our books. Very relaxing it was too!
