Katy’s 60th birthday tea

After the gym I got cracking with preparations for hosting Katy’s 60th birthday tea.

12 of us contributed savouries, sandwiches, scones and cakes as well as bringing bottles of Prosecco. Carol made a cocktail of gin, poppy liqueur, Lemon
Juice and Prosecco. It was as delicious and I was pleased I’d been able to ask people who all knew Katy but not each other. They all mixed well and stayed on longer than I expected. I’m tired but as I saved some of the delights for Mr C he has taken on the washing of the china tea set.
