One of many!

Suddenly today the garden was full of red admirals!  It wasn't just the buddleias either - they were working their way along the whole border, searching for nectar.  Super to see them all.

We spent most of the day outside, it was pretty windy, but quite warm when you found some shelter!  Mike and I pruned the rose and the climbing hydrangea on the pergola over the back path.  Definitely a two person job, one to hold the ladder!
