Dunwalking

Very very early start. Alarm at 3.10 am (4.10 UK time) to check out. Drive to Kevlavik. Drop off the hire car and get to the airport for a 7.30am flight.
All complicated by the hire car not starting, it's a long time since I did the pushing to achieve a bump start. And the same again when we stopped for fuel. Not sure if it was the starter motor or if Mr EAnn in his sleep deprived state forgot to depress the clutch before turning the key but it was a nasty moment.
All went well until a missing passenger delayed us and then there was some technical issue which seemed to consist of whoever had refuelled forgetting to put the filler cap on (I have interpreted freely here) which meant we were well over an hour late taking off.
No further hitches and we got home about 2pm UK time. Never has 15 degrees C felt so warm.
Final hitch is I've gone down with a cold and a sore throat so I'm skipping the photo club and bidding for an early night.
