The rainbow road.

A day of two halves.
This morning it was chucking it down again so we went for a drive. The scenic route North of Reykjavik around the fiord on the Greenland Sea at Hringvogur and back via the tunnel. Stopped for a coffee and to take pictures but the rain meant they were a pretty poor set despite the grandeur of the scenery.
By the time we got back into town the weather had improved greatly and after some souvenir shopping and making a start on the packing we went out for more coffee and a wander about. Managed to get some improved pictures of the Hallsgrimkirkja but liked this one for the folk walking toward me down the rainbow painted road.
Tonight we're going out for a slightly more upmarket dinner before we get an early night ahead of an early morning flight home.
