Where there’s life

Went for a walk in Brookwood cemetery. They have created some beautiful gardens which they call the memorial glades. One is called Maple Glades which I particularly liked because of its alliterative qualities. TSM said that ”when” we win the lottery we will have a house built and call it that.

I had a moment of madness and jumped a ditch.

Fanny Fanning is buried in the cemetery. She was born in 1855 and died in 1947. My surname is Dix so it would be as if my parents called me Dicky Dix. Cruel I call it.

Beautiful weather. Lovely trees. Nice afternoon.
