Hyde Park ...

Our challenge to solve the jacket search took us to London today.

Firstly, Sloane Square and Peter Jones (no joy) then we took the bus to Marble Arch and Oxford Street, where the store visited locally on Wednesday gave a result. Different style, slim fit as opposed to regular fit, looking very much the same to the untrained eye but meeting the requirements. Trousers too so double whammy!

We left to walk the length of Oxford Street to Regent Street, the Strand and Villiers Street for the tube, with a spring in our step..where the crowds would allow.

But, when we arrived at Marble Arch, I was so thrilled to see the crowds arriving in Hyde Park ready for the Proms Parks events and the relay of the Last night of the Proms from Royal Albert Hall. So many Euro flags, Union Jacks, garlands, hats and very happy people! I could have stayed and watched for hours! Next year I’d love to be there too. Never thought of it before! Big Sis would love it too.
