Family lunch....

An early birthday celebration in Chingford for Little Sis's husband today. It was a really happy day!

The birthday boy is the first man on the left and my sister is next to him. Also here are three of their children and three of their grandchildren together with one son-in-law,  and very possibly one daughter-in-law- to -be The rest of the family live in Australia, and D's sister and brother were unable to make today but will celebrate with him on his actual birthday.  We 4 are here too with our respectives! I had a great discussion with one granddaughter as to how we are all related to each other. Lots of second cousins and step relations....complicated but good!

Back to the house for a cup of tea etc before some of us went on a wonderful walk near Connaught Water. Fantastic weather again today which has made the day even more special. So good spending time with everyone, some of whom we see too infrequently but still pick up so easily where we left off and the difference in generations disappears.
