Council offices...

We’re in Cheltenham for a few days, returning after many years to some Cotswold highlights.

These Council Offices are on The Promenade, a fantastic street for designer or high end high street shoppers. They are also very much supporting Cheltenham in Bloom. At first we thought it was a top star hotel!

No shopping for us though. We’d walked into town from our hotel for dinner and enjoyed window shopping along this wonderful street on our way back. It was quiet in town and sad to see smaller shops have closed down.

We’d stopped in Cirencester for a couple of hours on our way here. It was market day but even that didn’t look busy as we walked round the outside. The sandstone abbey looked good in the afternoon sun.
