A wet Saturday in Reykjavik

We decided on today to explore the city and got pretty well soaked through.
When we started out this fashion shoot was going on outside the hotel. None of them looked to be enjoying it but the model is rather gorgeous.
We looked at Hallsgrimkirkja the impressive concrete church, where we took the lift to the top of the tower. Pottered round a few gift shops. Stopped for an excellent mocha. Found another church but it was locked. Got blown away by strong winds on the way to the harbour. Ducked into the art museum - mostly to dry out - and after a late lunch wended our way back to the hotel where we have dried out and read our novels.
Hoping for a dryer day tomorrow.
