Mirfield in bloom.

We sloped off to do the shopping and when we got back the builders have sloped off early. To be fair it is a bit drizzly. I'm not sure if they have finally finished breaking up concrete or if they have given up with the end in sight because the skip is full again.
While I was out I remembered this. Mirfield has won one of the Yorkshire in Bloom categories. Excellent as I think it's the first year we have entered. Our little town is looking good on it.
I am also pleased for Kippax who won one of the other categories and Allerton Bywater and Barwick in Elmet who were awarded gold. I claim no credit but these are all places I have lived. Blooming marvellous.
