Today's trip

Today we took our German visitors on a trip around Calderdale Valley.  As the road over to Hebden Bridge was closed our route changed.  We first visited Wycoller parking at the Panopticon and I walked down the path with them to Wycoller whilst G drove round.  Then it was Hepstonstall with a walk around the ruins.  They were amazed how time seemed to have stopped still with the cobbled roads.  Over the moors then to Hebden Bridge.  Luckily the rain held off until we were back in the car to take the road back to Haworth.
I think we had tired them out today.
