Our visitors last day

Today was the last day for our visitors from Germany before returning home tomorrow morning.  
They had expressed an interest in visiting Blackpool so off we went.  G took them on a memory tour of his childhood.  First we stopped at a little village called Wrea Green where we used to take the children to feed the ducks. Then on to Lytham and a walk down Green Drive where I saw the broken tree and the fungi.  Next into Lytham itself stopping at the Lytham Green - a long expanse of grassed area  where we showed them the Windmill.  Next on to St. Annes and the pier  - we had to have fish and chips (they had been waiting for this all week) and finally onto Blackpool.
They likened it to Las Vegas after seeing the Tower, Pleasure Beach and the Golden Mile.
