Horse Chestnuts.

These beautiful horse chestnuts were found on the ground in Great Harwood, where some old Horse Chestnut trees grow. Some trees were still full of lovely conkers and some leaves had mildew. I like to keep some conkers indoors, as they are said to deter spiders. I am convinced that this could be true. I am glad of the sunny weather and it is not too cold.
