Vineyard .....

......in the Loire. Today we visited the medieval town of Amboise which is overlooked by a stunning chateau ....we’ll come back another time to see it ....two of our friends find walking too far very tiring so we drank wonderful white wine instead....such a hardship! We then visited a vineyard and learnt such a lot about wine making...it was fascinating. I now know the difference between champagne and Prosecco and that vines produce for up to 75-80 years by which time their roots can go down10 metres!
