A taste of Tours

This is a beautiful, bustling medieval city which today was full of new students we think. Certainly there were hundreds of young people out drinking and socialising. We visited the Basilica of St Martin ( an interesting St who managed to be both a military saint and the saint of conscientious objectors at the same time) then had lunch in the attached convent ( delicious) before spending the afternoon drinking wine and enjoying the atmosphere.
