Last Mass

Today we went to our last mass here with Padre Luís, it's the end of an era... his last one here will be on the 15th, but we're leaving for England tomorrow.

Took some good photos (though I don't like doing it during the service) and then discovered there was no card in the camera... so you get a quick phone snap as he was finishing. But this was one occasion where the memory is more important than the quality of the photo.

He has been such a good friend to us, and we've learnt so much with him. We've made plans to meet up regularly; he will be about two hours away, but he won't be here.

Off now for our really Last Supper with him and some of the Amigos...

Gratefuls:
- this exceptional priest; it's no wonder, really, that the Bishop wants him somewhere larger; Mourão has been privileged to have him for these four years
- all we've shared together over these years
- getting lots done ready for our drive tomorrow
