Last Supper

Stopped off for a quick walk round Tomar on the way back to Mourão. Mike won a cup on the Rio Nabão here when he was in the canoeing club in Coimbra the year we were engaged. 

Above the town is the impressive Convento de Cristo, which was the headquarters of the Order of the Knights Templar in Portugal from 1160. We didn't have time to go in, but walked round the outside a bit, hopefully return someday.

Got back just in time for our Last Saturday Supper with Padre Luís, he'll have left by the time we get back from England. Will be so strange.

Gratefuls:

- safe driving, with Mike at the wheel
- home to sleep in our own bed
