On the road again!

Another Woodstock song title, Canned Heat this time, brings back lots of memories visual and auditory.
Today I took the train down the West Coast line, initially to Oxenholme and then on to Chester for the UK Cursillo annual gathering at the cathedral.
the first picture is of an on time Virgin train hammering through the station in the Lake District without stopping. It's a pendolino and I really don't enjoy travelling on them, or maybe I just haven't found the right thing to do while I'm travelling. I tried watching a film on my ipad this time but felt awful for the last half of the journey. The next three pictures are all taken at the same time, but with different exposure lengths, with my new phone. It's meant to be good in low light and it really is.
