Sally Mair - Loving life

Freesia

Bit of an EB tonight tired after a busy day! These freesia look gorgeous against the warm wood of the table and smell fantastic too. I wish I could grow them successfully.
Church this morning for morning prayer let by a member of our congregation who is in her 90's. There were 11 of us there which is pretty good but we are all women sadly. We're putting the final touches to the church ready for our interviews on Saturday. It's good to know we'll soon know who our new Rector will be.
Colin and I went down to Stockbridge and had some lunch in Maxis... forgotten the new name. Always lovely food though and freshly made, it was even busy today on a midweek afternoon. Back home and rewrote a couple of bits for the Cursillo magazine and added some to a talk I'll be giving. After dinner Colin had a meeting and I went to visit Ali and Stuart in their new house they are still camping upstairs but hopefully it won't be too long now. My case is packed and I'm off tomorrow on the train for a couple of nights in Chester and another couple in the Lakes. It'll be nice to have a break, it's been a bit busy.
Only 7245 steps today.
