Ice cream hounds.

Doggy ice cream is an occasional treat for the boys and because it was so warm today it seemed entirely appropriate. They both managed to completely empty the cartons, surprise surprise!

I went to RF'S this morning in time to say goodbye to Angelique and wish her well for the journey home then put in a repair stud post against a fence post which had rotted away and was leaning at quite an angle.

After this we both worked on the garden, weeding, cutting back passion flower, removing excess Crocosmia and then planting some new shrubs which will completely change the end of a bed outside the conservatory.

I was also treated to a lovely dinner prepared by the lovely lady whilst I cut the grass.

It's good to be away from any bank holiday traffic chaos.
