And they're Off!

Today was all about the Winchester City Mill Great Duck Race. At RF's for 9.30 to pack up the cakes we had made then off to the Mill.

The fun was due to start at 11.00am but when we arrived at 10.30 there were already people 'milling' around.

My job for the day was to man the hook a duck stall in the rear garden. A beautiful site with the river running both sides and fluffy clouds overhead.

RF and I had one of the lovely lunch boxes together (and a sneaky beer) then back to the stall which was right next to the start and at 2pm 2000 ducks were released to race down the river.

Such a fun day which was very well supported and will, hopefully, be an annual event.
