Rotting quietly away

This is just starting to grow, I was unable to get a clearer image as the dog was being a total and utter pain in the fundament, so haven't identified it at all. It's only about 1mm wide, the fungi not the fundament.

In other news, we met a lady dog trainer by chance in the woods today. Flossie's boss, the mean ugly one, will be getting trained into the uses and non-uses of a Parson Russell terrier in the near future. Updates will be available in all decent red-tops.

I need training more than the dog, standing in the middle of a wood yelling obscenities at a fleeing dog's bum is not good for the soul! Amazing that I can have a Labrador doing everything to hand commands in a matter of hours but these stubborn little sods need a more devious mind. Psychology, don't you just love it!
