Why did I come in here?

Fungi

Large is warming.

These have been growing on an old gorse branch for about 2 weeks now. They have weathered the rain and now in the sun this afternoon they looked really autumnal, which is where we appear to be or even Spring!

I believe they may be Galerina marginata but defer to more knowledgeable souls without putting up any form of fight or defence.

Collins describes them as containing a dangerous amount of alpha-amatin, the poison of the bulbous agarics - consumption can be fatal.

Wicked amatin from Wiki. :-))))
