That reminds me...

I went for a walk along local lanes this afternoon. It was very breezy so not easy to hold the camera steady. The local Kestrel was riding on the wind. There is no sign of the leaves changing colour yet, but it is unmistakably late Summer: Rosebay Willowherb going to seed, Swallows and Willow Warblers feeding up prior to leaving, Rowan berries ripe and ready for the arrival of the Winter Thrushes, the horses by the stables already in their coats. Time to make jam.
