This is not the butterfly you are looking for.

When is a butterfly on a wall not a Wall  Butterfly? When it's a Peacock. I went in search of Wall Brown butterflies again, and this time I spotted one, but it wasn't posing for a photo, unlike this Peacock. One bonus find was an Oakbug Milkcap  (Lactarius quietus) - in extras.
I have 2 butterfly surveys to do at Longshaw  in the next 2 weeks (my own and one I'm subbing for a friend) and as the weather looks good, at least for next week, I'm hopeful I may find some good ones.
