Old Friends

A breezy day, dull this morning, sunny spells this afternoon.  A lovely calm evening. 

Back to work in the museum, and much quieter now Boat Week is over.  I finished a bit earlier and managed to get to the peat hill.  All peats now off the wet ground, and drying!  Mad dash to work in the pub after tea.  Finished at 9pm, and headed down to Cunningsburgh.  Feet up now, before bed.

Had a great night catching up with old friends. Tam and Ruth are home for a summer holiday.  Although I'm driving, they caught up with a beer, and me a few coffees.  Friends for life, no matter how long it's been.  L-R - Tam Bardell, me and Keith Hughson.  Taken at Keith's, Old School, Cunningsburgh.
