Bowness

A busy day out!

We walked/biked the scenic route down to Bowness as CyclopsJnr, MrsCyclops and Grandma had tickets to see the show Where is Peter Rabbit? At the World of Beatrix Potter. It was great! Live action with puppets and songs, CyclopsJnr was at times in stitches and at times excited and at times joining in shouting out. Always engaged. Very good.

We went for lunch at the new Jetty Museum. Lunch was outstanding, must go there again. Without a ticket we could look at an outside area with a stunning view, play on a pirate boat, and check out the model boat pond. That was all great.

Back to Beatrix Potter for a whip round the exhibition then we fed the ducks which CyclopsJnr finds hilarious - capering with glee.

Open top bus back to Windermere for a quick snack stop (Rocky road and a milkshake for CyclopsJnr) then back to Grandma's to make an aeroplane assault course then a Lego ninja before tea.
